Keith Soforic grew up in Scottdale, PA—a rural town thirty-two miles southeast of Pittsburgh. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, in 1996. In January of 1997, Soforic moved out west to Los Angeles, CA, where he worked in the film industry for several years. During his time in L.A., Keith worked a variety of jobs—both in front of, and behind the camera—and developed his own ideas in his personal time. Gradually, his interests in the arts shifted and Keith began working at a Fine Arts Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. There, he learned about an entirely different form of art—painting. Inspired by the number of artists he met and the beauty of the California coast, Keith began painting.			In October of 2000, Soforic relocated to the Midwest—where he continues to paint today. He currently lives in downtown Kansas City, MO and is a member of (KCAC) Kansas City Artists Coalition. Publications of his work include Potpourri and Orange Grove magazines. He has sold to private Collectors in California, Kansas, and Missouri.
